Our Mission

We consider our mission in everything we do.  We want to change (parts of) the world

The mission of HealthTouch Urgent Care is to promote the health and well-being of the communities we serve. Put another way, we will improve health outcomes in these communities. And at the same time, we offer access to quality healthcare to communities historically lacking healthcare.

First of all, we achieve this by employing forward-looking technology and harnessing data to improve the healthcare outcomes of the community’s population. 

Second, through our HealthTouch Urgent Care and HealthTouch Foundation, we support communities with pent-up demand for healthcare. 

Third, we achieve our mission by providing accessible, high-quality, culturally competent, and affordable medical care for family members of all ages.

HealthTouch is committed to providing services that will exceed the expectations of our patients, resulting in improved health outcomes and a successful business model.

Our Objective

Our objective is to Identify, Measure, Monitor, and Control health risks and accelerated aging in our target communities.

By accomplishing our objectives, we go a long way in improving the health outcomes of our community members and subscribers. 

So, these objectives are appropriate for the community members we treat from a health and longevity perspective.

Identify

Our urgent care centers identify health concerns when we treat our community members. Through every point in the patient journey, we evaluate their immediate disorder and other risk factors and determine if there are other services we can provide to them. For example, if they are overweight, we suggest our subscription-based services designed to “monitor” their vital statistics and glucose levels. We will ONLY recommend services that may improve their healthspan or aim to reduce their biological age.

Measure

Simply put, we will measure vital statistics using wearables and other technology that allow the community member or HealthTouch to collect and measure their health data. We are currently working with wearable manufacturers to use their data to measure our community members’ health risks. But, first, the community members can collect their data through Apple Health and Google Fit and provide it to HealthTouch.

Some of the data we will collect initially are:

  • Heart Rate, Heart Rate Variability, and Resting Heart Rate
  • Blood Oxygen Levels
  • ECG Readings
  • Body Temperature
  • Blood Pressure
  • Sleep Length, Habits, and Quality
  • Glucose Levels
  • Body Weight
  • Health/Workout Activity
  • Other

Monitor

Once the community member enters our subscription-based hybrid concierge medicine program, we will begin to monitor their health statistics.

  1.  Using wearables, we can monitor their ongoing vital statistics trends.
  2.  Second, we’ll draw blood and analyze it at least twice a year.
  3.  Finally, we will consult them if any category has a negative trend. Moreover, if there are positive trends, we will tell them so.  

Control

With this information and additional future measurable statistics, we believe we can control the trend of poor health in many communities. Moreover, HealthCheck can impact the health outcomes of the communities in which we treat community members.

Meet Your Dedicated Team

HealthTouch uses a mixed urgent care model in its CARE CENTERs.  Based on the level of care at each urgent care center, the mix may differ from one HealthTouch Urgent Care Center to the next.  Moreover, we require our teammates to be versatile so that we can operate our CARE CENTERs efficiently during the infancy of a CARE CENTER.
